Extra Math and Social Studies Activities

Hopefully everyone has had a chance to see the slideshow of all Greenleaf staff prepared by Mrs. W. and Mrs. Marion (link provided in blog post entitled Week of April 14-17). It was great to "see" everyone again!

I have a few more extra activities for those needing more work. These activities are not submitted through the Hub for feedback.

Math: Count to 100 by 2's, 5's, 10's, and 25's. Then count backwards by 2's, 5's, 10's, and 25's from 100. Try starting at different points to count. Here is a hundreds chart if your child needs a visual:

Social Studies: Here is a map of Canada. Count how many provinces there are and how many territories. What province do we live in? Find it on the map. What provinces are our neighbours (to the west and east). Do you have family from another province? Find that province.
